The BMW M850i xDrive convertible has luxury and performance. Meanwhile, the top version features everything BMW can technically do. The price was almost too high for a convertible. The M850i is an expensive exotic car but not a sports car.
Is that just another convertible? The BMW M850i xDrive has an all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, adjusting every damper in milliseconds. Besides, it also uses an electric motor to suppress sways in fast corners.
The eight cylinders roar from the exhaust flap or switch to an economical display when the accelerator is released. Underneath, the carbon supports suppress every vibration. People wonder and can even imagine whether BMW blew their hair in the end.
Fresh air still blows into the M850i xDrive Convertible. Of course, adjust to the wind speed “hairstyle friendly.” Raise the side window, set the standard wind deflector, and a gentle breeze will hit the windshield and flip into the rear seat.
So maybe some people are not comfortable sitting in the back seat. After all, there is only enough space for children or short trips, especially when the roof is closed.
Standard neck warmer blows air from the seatbacks to the head’s back, helping to fight cold air. The biggest wind engine, of course, is the Biturbo V8. The four-ply convertible roof should be as quiet as the tin roof on the Coupe. But while driving, the convertible whistles gently from the outside mirrors and frameless side windows. However, this style seems more suitable for a sunny location globally, individually designed according to taste and budget.
The list of other additions ranges from a glass-coated gear lever for 650 euros to a new responsive driver’s assistant that can be named. The elegant Airiness also shows the classy interior of the BMW.
Pros and Cons
Eight-cylinder should convert all turbo haters. It’s almost too strong for the convertible. But the open eight weighs too much for a sports car. The four-layer roof opens automatically in 15 seconds, and the show works up to 50 km/h
The price of the M850i xDrive convertible starts at 133,700 euros, 8,000 euros more than the coupe. The 320 hp diesel engine in the 840d convertible is more prevalent among us, but it’s also not cheap at 108,000 euros. The 840i petrol engine with 340 hp and the M8 convertible with 600 hp will follow throughout the year.
