The Exterior of New 1500 Ram TRX
The beautiful red color of TRX Ram is so charming. So, when you look at the truck, it’s not just about taking a Hellcat motor and just putting it in. Ram has done a lot of other engineerings.
It is not only metal sheet-wise but also everything under it. On the front fender, you can see the extra width. You have a beautiful flared fender that’s almost 8″ wide on Ram 1500
You will love the flared fenders because you have full functionality. So the air will hit the front through the fenders, out and down the sides. It’s an impressive little subtle touch.
Flat black, LED lighting, and daytime running lights are lovely. When you go down, you will get your fog lights.
As you go over the lower section from front to back, you’ll end up with a different set of skid plates. The way they attach it is incredible so that you won’t trap a lot of dirt and debris.
If you look under the truck, it’s all front to back to give you all that protection. You get 11.8 inches of ground clearance, measured from the ground’s bottom.
The new TRX ram is super aggressive. Just like any other Mopar product, you have everything that works functionally. So at the top, all grill space is functional.
Ram takes a page from the Chevrolet playbook, and they have a plot section in the Ram name. Just like the Chevrolet bow tie on the 2014 Camaro Z28, they hollowed it out to get more airflow.
Besides, you have a front-facing camera as you navigate through rugged off-road terrain.
When you focus on the super-wide hood, you’ll see a functional hood scoop. You have a massive air filter to remove all contaminants from the engine.
Then you get additional lights. The Department of Transportation needs it because of its width.
We love the way Ram drops this car so clean and sleekly right in the air intake.
Of course, when air comes in, you have to let the hot air out. So you get a working heat extractor—the fat black with the TRX logo name right on top of the hood.
Around the bend, what does Ram do with the wheel and tire arrangements? The special TRX has optional Beadlock wheels, and you’ll get Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires.
That will help grip the road, Beadlock 18″ wheels, and it only looks an incredible 35″.
You have plenty of space between the tops of the tires inside the fenders. Guess what it has? New Bilstein active dampers on all four corners!

Under the hood of the TRX, you will see two round openings on the back, known as the Ram airflow.
We love all the names they use, but what happens when the hood closes? So, this will seal the back.
