Best Used Toyota RAV4 Year To Buy

If you are looking for the best used Toyota RAV4 year, you can consider buying a 2015 RAV4. Toyota has been selling RAV4 since 1996 in the US, and so far, the company has sold more than 4 million units.

Why Should You Choose the 2015 Toyota RAV4?

There's a lot of reasons for that, but the leading cause is under the hood. The 2015 RAV4 has an excellent 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine.

In this case, this is a redesign of the AR 2 engine, but not like the previous one, like oil burning from a worn piston ring and a worn piston. Most owners haven't seen a problem as long as they change the oil.

The six-speed automatic trans in the 2015 Toyota RAV4, probably the best transmission ever made. 

Of course, the old four speeds above, they are excellent. 

The six speeds get far better gas mileage and have far better power characteristics.

The ramp style currently comes in various configurations of 2WD, 4WD, and even a hybrid version. They are one of the most popular semi-compact. 

You might really call it compact, but there is a lot of space in it. You have a beautiful sporty interior in the front and lots of room in the back.

All types of rooms, in this case, they put the back seat to the front. So there are all kinds of places. The style look is much better than the old one. 

It has everything you need like air conditioning, digital readings, steering controls for cellphones, stereo, and what modes you can display on the dashboard.

RAV4 stock is standard, and they also make it with third-row seating. This car can load 3 seats in; someone thought it was fantastic. 

This newer handle is much better than the old one with front and rear disc brakes. They stop much better; no SUVs are generally gas hockey because they are here, in their size and speed.

But for an SUV, customers get 30 mpg on the highway. 2015 RAV4 is around 24 in the city, pretty good for an SUV. Of course, if you don't mind the complexity and costs of hybrids. Hybrid drivers are even better.

You take the 2019 RAV4 Hybrid. It gets 41 mpg in the city because it has regenerative braking, incredible gas mileage for an SUV. 

Therefore Toyota and other hybrid goods are almost all based on the Prius. Hybrids are quite reliable, but we don't recommend someone to buy one that has 150,000 miles or about ten years when it comes to it.

But if you buy a new one, you generally won't experience problems until you get a higher distance like at any Toyota. 

Now the 2.5 liters and four-cylinder lights from the workspace are Toyota, so you don't need to do a lot of work in general. But whenever you do, it's easy to change the oil.

The distance from the ground is relatively high, so you don't need to jack it up. You can reach the oil pan and drain. 

There is one filter where you have to remove the plastic container and change the inside. But it can also be done without jacking it up as long as you have a special wrench that fits.

Now we must say, honestly, newer ones that have CVT or eight-speed automatic transmissions, and we are not yet a big fan. 

Because eight-speed automatic has a problem, and we don't believe in any form of CVT. You know it's sad our friend recently brought a new one last year. We will examine the results for years if the CVT survives.

Our friend liked it very much, and he said he had a lot of acceleration and got better gas. But we don't believe that until it's been out for 5-6 years or more. 

When they place an eight-speed automatic, it's good for the first year or two. But then they show that they have problems as they get older.

2015 RAV4 6 Speed Automatic VS 2019 8-Speed Automatic

So we know that the six-speed as an excellent automatic transmission. 

If someone asks about what we will have? 2015 RAV4 with 6-speed automatic or 2019 with 8-speed automatic. We prefer driving older cars.

The 8-speed automatic has problems, but we rarely ever see problems in 6-speed automatic. But we see eight speeds all the time they will slip. They will not move right. 

They just aren't, and for what it's worth, the CVT and power ramp are only available in hybrid versions.

CVT is quite close to the Toyota Prius. When you have a hybrid, you must have a CVT with a Toyota design. 

Because the engine has input to run it. Likewise, electric motors and CVT can transfer quickly. So, if you buy a rare CVT, it will become a hybrid now.

They are vehicles that are much bigger than usual. If you look at the early ones from 1996, they are much smaller and stubbier inside. They are comfortable to drive. 

The old version was much slower than now. 

They have evolved very well with all the ramp's power, apart from the relatively weak 8-speed automatic transmission that they are using now.

They have a history that is quite famous for not having high mileage problems. 

We have friends who have 350,000 - 400,000 miles regularly and compare this front-end with '96. 

It doesn't even look like the same vehicle because they have a lot of styles now.

We like them to have it in 2015 and put down a gruesome, prominent grille and keep classic grille on it, and we agree with that now. 

Next, they installed a somewhat more prominent grille in 2019, but there is nothing like it. 

Once they use Lexus and some Corollas and still keep it relatively conservative, connect fixed views, and not just copy what others are doing.

2015 Toyota RAV4 is Reliable

So it's really the reliability that makes this vehicle worth selling. People need an SUV. They want something that is undamaged, durable, and not easily bumped.

2015 RAV4 provides a smooth ride and good mileage for an SUV. Now you understand why Toyota sold millions of these units. 

Give people what you want. As the times change, it changes RAV4 to make it bigger, stronger, but still get decent gas mileage.

However, models like this, the 2015 RAV4, of course, nothing last forever.
